Run Calibration: 3D Spark

Before you start: confirm you are logged into the correct customer 3D Spark organization.

Use this module only when build time is relevant for customer's costing / pricing.

Inputs

• Calibration CAD files exist in CS_Internal/Calibration_Run/Calibration_CAD.
• Calibration Group Upload Spreadsheet exists in CS_Internal/Calibration_Run/Calibration_CAD (from Run Extractor: G-code or GrabCAD exception article).
• Calibration Summary Sheet exists in CS_Internal/Calibration_Run/Evidence

Rule: Calibration fits parameters. Validation determines acceptance.

Procedure

1. Prepare the calibration upload package: confirm CAD files + Group Upload Spreadsheet exist.
2. Group upload calibration parts in 3D Spark using the calibration CAD folder and Group Upload Spreadsheet.
3. Run the calibration workflow for the target machine + material + parameter set.
   
   Use the Summary Spreadsheet that was generated by the G-code Extractor as a reference for the build times .
   
   Use customer's printing parameters as a reference for calibration parameters (machine dimensions, layer thickness, minimum overhang angle...)

4. Record Calibration Tool screenshot in CS_Internal/Evidence/
   This step is described in the Calibrating / modelling machines and materials article.
5. Record calibration completion in CS_Internal/Evidence/Onboarding_Execution_Note.docx (and reference where the calibration Summary Spreadsheet is stored).
6. Go to next step in the CS Ops Runbook

Completion Criteria

Calibration is complete when:

• The target machine-material-parameter-set is calibrated in the correct customer 3D Spark organization.
• Calibration evidence is stored and traceable in CS_Internal/Evidence/.
• Onboarding_Execution_Note.docx records calibration completion and references the location of the calibration Summary Spreadsheet.
• CS Ops can continue to the next step in the CS Ops: AM Onboarding Runbook.
