How to analyze a technical drawing and how to attach additional documents

3D Spark can analyze tecnical drawings and extract the material information. It then suggests a suitable, 3D-printable material.

You can upload PDF and image files, just like you would upload a CAD file. You can also drag & drop both files (CAD and Technical Drawing) simultaneously. If the file type is set to “Technical drawing” the file will be analyzed automatically and a material will be read from the drawing. If this (current) material is selected, 3D Spark recommends the most similar material suitable for additive manufacturing.

You can also upload auxilary files such as Microsoft Office documents, other pdf files (Invoices etc.) and short videos in .mp4 format. Just drag & drop them into the upload area, same as your CAD file.
