Finalize Customer's 3D Spark Instance

Before you start: confirm you are logged into the correct customer 3D Spark organization.

Purpose

Configure the customer's complete 3D Spark instance using their spreadsheet inputs. This includes global settings, process chain (pre/main/post), cost drivers, and analysis templates.

When To Use This

• If calibration is required: Run this after calibration so machine/material parameters are up to date.
• If full reuse applies (skip calibration): Run this before validation using the reused machine/material setup.
• If build time is not relevant: Run this as the main execution step (no calibration/validation needed).

Inputs

• From Customer_Upload/01_Spreadsheet: process steps (pre/main/post), cost drivers, and rates.
• Machine name and material name (usually created during calibration. If not, created manually).
• If calibration was performed: calibrated machine/material parameters.
• If reuse applies: machine/material parameters from Global Calibration Library.

Procedure

1. Review the spreadsheet and extract the required data (steps, drivers, units, rates).
2. Create or reuse the machine in customer's 3D Spark instance (if not created yet). Make sure the correct parameters are used.
3. Create or reuse the material in customer's 3D Spark instance (if not created yet). Make sure the correct parameters and the correct machine are used.

Completion Criteria

• A Template is saved and selectable for validation or customer use
