Copy Datasets: Standard CAD Sets

This SOP explains how CS Ops copies the standard calibration and validation CAD datasets into the customer CS_Internal run folders to preserve traceability.

Rule

  • Source of standard CAD datasets: \General\03_Sales\07_Customer Success\ONBOARDING\Global Calibration Library\Standard CAD Datasets

  • Do not modify the source datasets. Copy into customer run folders only.

  • Always copy datasets into the customer CS_Internal run folders.

  • Do not modify datasets in place.

  • Document exclusions when parts do not fit the printer.

Step 1: Copy Calibration CAD Set

  • Copy the standard calibration CAD set into:

    • CS_Internal/Calibration_Run/Calibration_CAD

If some parts do not fit the printer:

  • keep the files in the folder

  • document which files were excluded from slicing and why

Step 2: Copy Validation CAD Set

  • Copy the standard validation CAD set into:

    • CS_Internal/Validation_Run/Validation_CAD

Completion Criteria

You are done when:

  • calibration CAD set exists in Calibration_CAD

  • validation CAD set exists in Validation_CAD

  • exclusions are recorded in CS_Internal/Evidence/Onboarding_Execution_Note.docx
